Rev up your 2015 goals (features video)

Soon after our exclamations of “OMG – how is it already 2015” – the first three months of the year have also whizzed by. It’s time to face facts folks. Time really does fly (at least it does when you’re not in crisis or ‘survival’ mode) and that means that if you have set yourself some goals for this year, it’s time to get your skates on before you blink and you miss it.

This is a great time to take stock. What’s been going well so far this year? What are you proud of? Where are you on the journey towards your varying goals? Answer these questions truthfully and either pat yourself on your back and keep on trucking (whoop whoop to your achievements!) or light a fire under your posterior and get going.

Now if you haven’t set yourself some goals. You’re not off the hook. In fact, you can also join in the exercise described in the video below as without consciously making the effort to clarify and move forward with what you want – you run the danger of ‘existing’ and not progressing. I’m sure you don’t want to reach the 2016 mark wondering what the hell happened to 2015.

Your task today? To make a list of 15 things you want to achieve in 2015. Yes this is a forum to support your career development but it’s also about your lifestyle balance so be sure that your list reflects varying sides of your life – some food for thought features in the video (see below).

GOALS FOR 2015

Even if you did this in your own way at the beginning of the year, consider this a great time to review / adjust and tick off the list as relevant.

Take a few minutes now to check it out and do share your experience of this exercise in the comments below. It’ll also be brilliant to hear what you’re already proud of having achieved this year.
