“Back to School” productivity inspiration

It’s back to school season so I have to ask… Have you spent so much time focused on the kids this summer that you are now a little but unclear on what exactly is going on with you personally? Do you need to hit a reset button to ensure you are moving forward purposefully, not just floating from busy day to busy day without a plan? Do you wish you had more time to achieve your goals but (ironically) don’t even have time to get clear on what those are right now?

I hear you. I am feeling exactly the same way which is why I have created a “Back to School” inspired free 7-day “Get Your Shizzle Sorted” challenge… starting on Monday 4 September.

Let’s use that annual “September, let’s get ourselves sorted”, “new year resolution type” vibe to embrace this opportune moment now that the kids are back at school (or about to be) to take some positive actions towards your goals and dreams before you get to that annoying “WTF… where the **** did 2017 go” feeling (which is just a hop, skip and a jump away if you don’t do something different now)

Run by author and career coach for working parents Gina Visram (that’s me!), this challenge is for you if you resonate with any or all of the below:

• You have spent so much family-focused time this summer which has been great (lol – or let’s be honest, not always so great if you or the kids were ever feeling ‘meh’) and you’re now a little but unclear on what’s next for you

• Between work and family commitments you often feel time poor but even when you find a slither of time, you waste it frantically thinking about what the most productive thing to do is… and before you know it that time evaporated, seemingly into thin air

• You’re on parental leave / extended childcare leave and either considering heading back to employed work or planning to come up with an alternative way to earn money while embracing motherhood

• You’re in employed work and interested in exploring something different (be it a different job, industry or way of working)

• You like the idea of starting a side hustle to explore an entrepreneurial interest or a potential money-making hobby

• You currently have or want to get clear on goals and dreams for your personal and your professional life…

• You know that making progress on your own has gotten you this far, and would welcome support to make real tangible progress over the course of 7 days, to help you move from a to b faster than you’d be able to on your own (and with more fun and ease too)

For increased clarity and transformation in 7-days, you don’t need to be familiar with any fancy tech to join the challenge, you just need to act now (as the challenge is starting soon) with an e-mail address, 10-30 minutes a day and the ability to contribute and support others in a fun Facebook group.
